I was delighted to be asked to be Artist in Residence for Godolphin School in Salisbury last year. It involved a day of presentation to explain the evolution of my work and my process...a fantastic opportunity to review my creative journey of the last 20+ years! Several months (and two Lockdowns) later I spent a day demonstrating five techniques I use in my work in a series of small workshops. These included gestural drawing techniques to capture movement, mixing muted colours and atonal greys, layering up tone using a coloured ground, painting an animal in 12 brushstrokes and using line to enhance paintings. All in all a wonderful experience.
